Lucy started her training in Dance from the age of four attending Ballet, Jazz, Tap classes in and around the Bristol area at an early age Lucy had a love for the stage and performing so begun taking classes in singing and Drama to broaden her performance skills.
This set the performance field for Lucy who was signed to an agency creating opportunities in TV, modelling, & Musical Theatre. By the age of 10 Lucy was enrolled in some of the UK’s most prestigious Performing Arts schools/Companies & could regularly be seen performing and competing around the UK.
At 11 Lucy performed a six month run at the Bristol Hippodrome alongside Phillip Schofield & Daren Day in Joseph as part of the Really Useful Company. From here Lucy went onto perform in Scrooge at the Hippodrome, Little shop of Horrors, A night at the Musicals, Antigone Ustinov Theatre, Casualty BBC, Teachers Channel 4, HTV documentaries & EastEnders BBC.
Lucy’s training continued at Theatre Schools, along with obtaining a National Diploma in Performing Arts at the City of Bath College, Lamda grades 3-medals and studying a two year HND Musical Theatre/Dance diploma .
During & after her training Lucy continued to perform as a backing dancer for a number of Pop Acts, extra roles and as a performer in a number of West End shows/touring companies.
Lucy decided to move into the teaching field and studied/trained to teach Performing Arts, Dance & Voice. In 2006 PDMSL was created and the rest is history. Lucy is currently teaching Musical Theatre, & Dance at a number of Theatre Schools /colleges throughout the South-west & is the Principal Choreographer for PDMSL.
Lucy also specialises in Voice training with 1-1 private tuition, Lamda preparation as part of students exams, private classes in Dance and Wedding choreography which saw her nominated for Wedding choreographer of the year 2015.
As part of her background Lucy holds a number of awards for her choreography and is booked as a guest choreographer/judge for dance organisations.
